The European Industrial Alliance on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs)
Established in February 2024, aims to facilitate and accelerate the development, demonstration and deployment of the first SMR projects in Europe by the early 2030s.
The Alliance operates through dedicated working groups that focus on improving the enabling conditions for SMR deployment, including revitalising the nuclear supply chain. Its activities are designed to support concrete SMR projects and speed up their entry onto the European market.
